Grace Trace Ministries is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing safe, structured, and private transitional housing for returning citizens, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and young adults across the State of Texas.

🔓Returning Citizens & Inmates
Individuals returning from state or federal incarceration — on parole, probation, or recently released. TDCJ and BOP referrals welcome.
🎖️Veterans
Homeless or at-risk veterans. VA Medical Center referrals and HUD-VASH coordination. Benefits navigation included.
♿Individuals with Disabilities
Adults with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. DBMD program for deaf-blind individuals. Medicaid and private pay accepted.
🌱Young Adults & Transitioning Youth
Young adults aging out of foster care or transitioning to independent living. Life skills and housing support programs available.

Every resident at Grace Trace Ministries receives their own private room. No dormitories. No shared sleeping spaces of any kind. This is a key distinction from shelter-based models — our residents live in dignified, private, structured housing environments.

Same-Day Intake Available
When space is available Grace Trace Ministries can complete intake and place an individual the same day a referral is received.
How to Make a Referral

Contact Us
Email info@gracetraceministries.org or visit gracetraceministries.org. Provide the individual's name, supervision status, referring agency, and preferred program.

Eligibility Screening
We conduct a brief screening by phone or in person. Confirm eligibility, available space, and move-in date. Documentation requirements reviewed.
3
Move-In & Intake
Individual arrives with required documents. Intake checklist completed. Drug test administered. Agreements signed. Placed in private room same day.
4
Ongoing Coordination
We coordinate with parole officers, probation officers, courts, and VA coordinators throughout residency. Progress reports available upon request.
